Analytical Functions and Regular Expressions in SQL
At the core of any database application are SQL statements. They can be simple select from queries to very complex (and long) statements. In recent releases, Oracle has added new functions and features that enable developers and users to write powerful statements in SQL that used to require PL/SQL or external tools. This session will cover the advanced SQL features of analytical functions and regular expressions. We will cover the theory and implementation of these features and how they can be used to decrease the complexity of a statement.
